Do You Need An Editor?

The short answer is, “Yes!”

Today, many agents and publishers recommend that an author hire an editor before submitting a manuscript. Having spent four decades in publishing houses in New York City, I know what agents and publishers are looking for.

No one can guarantee to make you a bestselling author or even get you published, but your chances are immensely improved with proper editing and representation.

My Services

First, I need to read your work. See the Submission Guidelines below.

If I feel that I am a good fit for an author, I will extend a Editorial Services Contract.

Once the contract is signed, I will begin by making an extensive, detailed analysis of the work at hand and present a first round of notes. After that, I will continue to work with the author until the manuscript is the best it can be.

Submission Guidelines

Use the following FORM to send me:

  • Your Name and Contact Information
  • A Short Summary (1 Page) of your book
  • The first 3,000 words of your book

I will read and evaluate your work, and get in touch with you to share my thoughts.
